Add a dashboard filter
You can add filters to a dashboard, which can affect all tiles or just specific tiles. Dashboard filters allow users to narrow a dashboard's results to only the data they are interested in.
When viewing a dashboard, a user can temporarily update dashboard filter values, which doesn't affect any other users.
Note:
- Dashboard filters override filters applied to a visualization tile when both types of filters are filtering on the same field. For workarounds to avoid this behavior, see this knowledge base article (login required).
- For dashboards that include multiple Explores, for example, multiple surveys or a Touchpoint activity and profile variables, you can only filter on an Explore's fields if it is used in a visualization on the dashboard.
