Moving and rearranging dashboard filters

You can rearrange filters in the filter bar.

If you have a large number of filters, you can move less frequently used filters under a More button, where they are only visible in a drop-down list when the user clicks on the button.

  1. In an existing dashboard, click the Dashboard actions button on the top right of the page and then, select Edit dashboard.
  2. Hover over the filter to display the filter's six-dot icon. The six-dot icon appears at the top left of the filter.
  3. Click and hold the six-dot icon, drag the filter to the position you want, and then release your mouse button.

    You can use the six-dot icon to:

    • Reorder filters on the filter bar.
    • Move filters on the filter bar into the More button.

      If no filters are currently added to the More button, an empty More button temporarily appears while you are dragging a filter. You can move the filter over the More button to add it to the More button drop-down list. If you do not add any filters to the More button, it disappears once you release your click.

    • Reorder filters within the More menu by dragging them up or down in the drop-down list.
  4. Click Save in the Dashboard toolbar to save your changes and exit edit mode.
