Delete a Scalar Field

You can remove a scalar field from your New Dashboard data sources if it is no longer needed.

1. Open the dashboard to delete the scalar field from.
2. Click Data Management.
3. Do one of the following:
   • Click the User-Defined Field tab, click Scalar Field, and then select Option > Delete.
   • In the Selected Data panel, click Delete next to the scalar field to remove.
4. Click Delete in the confirmation dialog box.
5. If you are finished making changes to your New Dashboard data sources, click Done in the Selected Data panel.
