Edit a scalar field

You can rename a scalar field, modify the data source field to base the scalar field on, or update scalar field values, at any time.

1. Open the dashboard to edit the scalar field in.
2. Click Data Management.
3. Do one of the following:
   • Click the User-Defined Field tab, click Scalar Field, and then select Option > Edit.
   • In the Selected Data panel, click the name of the scalar field to modify.
4. Adjust any of the scalar field settings, as necessary.
5. Click Done.
6. If you are finished making changes to your New Dashboard data sources, click Done in the Selected Data panel.
