Add a visualization tile

Start creating your dashboard, or update an existing dashboard, by adding visualization tiles.

Prerequisites:

Create a New Dashboard or a Classic Dashboard.

Note: To ensure that data is presented clearly, you should typically use a maximum of 15 tiles on a dashboard.
  1. From the dashboard, choose one of the following options:
    • If the dashboard is empty, click Edit Dashboard, and then click Add > Visualization in the middle of the page.
    • If the dashboard already includes tiles:
      • Select Dashboard Actions > Edit Dashboard in the top right of the page.
      • Select Add > Visualization from the menu bar.
  2. In the Choose an Explore dialog, select the data source you want to create the tile from.
  3. In the top left of the dialog, delete Untitled and type a new name for the tile.
