Duplicate a dashboard

Duplicate an existing dashboard and use it as a template for the new dashboard.

Note: Classic Dashboards are being deprecated and cannot be duplicated. You can continue to view and edit existing Classic Dashboards, but you cannot create new Classic Dashboards or duplicate them.
Tip: If you have an existing dashboard that contains a large number of tiles (25+) and loads slowly, you can create two or more duplicate dashboards. You can then remove tiles from the duplicate dashboards so that the full set of tiles from the original dashboard is divided among the duplicates. Leave the original dashboard unmodified while you create and test the duplicate dashboards.
  1. Open the Analytics app and on the analytics menu, click Dashboards.
  2. Beside an existing dashboard in the list, click the Options menu and select Duplicate.
  3. In the dialog, enter a new name for your dashboard.
  4. Click Duplicate.
Result: The duplicate dashboard inherits the access settings applied to the original dashboard. If your user account has been assigned the Can change access settings permission, you can change the access settings for the duplicated dashboard. If your account does not have this permission, the dashboard will be assigned to the teams you belong to, or if you don't belong to any teams, it will be available to everyone.
